The Land Of Edgar AllanRemember The Raven? We do around here. The Domino too, upon sunset appears. A fallen man's point. An introvert's harbor. Twas the land of Edgar Allan. Need I say more? E'er fouls, walks, run. Not Edgar's Raven, the orange and black one. Black-eyed Susan's - my back yard. The dock of the bay - my front door. Twas the land of Edgar Allan, hon E'er, I say more. |
The Power Of LimitationsThe power of limitations.Sage once more, old white man. so happy to live in mental cages, America. Mother Earth- Each soul as a cell Riddled with cancer. Perhaps the greatest freedom, Is the power to dream! To whom belongs this great..., free..., nation? A slave of all colors. Many lands, One Mother. To whom can freedom belong? Without contrast, There cannot be. Freedom must not be taken, I say- Before it has been given. |
Our GenerationOur generationOur fathers' heirs, We now inherit what they once called theirs. The Crime, the Poverty, The Guilt, the Hate; But is it too late to recreate? A time existing long ago When our fathers made the things we now know as home. Our generation Our fathers' heirs, We must now fix what they once called theirs. The Crime, the Poverty, The Guilt, the Hate; But is it too late to recreate? A people just like you and me, Who tried to help the world so destructively. Our generation Our fathers' gem, We have no choice, We are now them. |
