God blessed me with the ability to put together words in rhymeIn my late teens. I am disabled due to four open heart surgeries.I have had a couple poems published, and a sermon was made around one of my poems, which was a great honor.Poetry is a way for me to express my inner most thoughts, and is very relaxing.I thank God for this chance for people all over the world to read my poetry.Thank you for this honor.

Prayer Of Peace

Heavenly Father, please help us,
Open our eyes to you.
To live in the peace you teach,
And love one another, true.
Your kind of love could teach.
Your Word is what we need,
To live with each other in harmony.
Let every one of us take heed.
Let there be peace in our world.
I know we try it on our own,
But if you'll be with each of us,
Help us to remember we reap what we have sown.

The Reason For The Season

This is the season to rejoice,
The birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord,
God sent his only son, with holy voice,
To forgive our sins, with love out poured.
Jesus lived and died for each one of us,
If only His word we could receive,
Our sins were taken, on the cross,
Now is the time to believe.
Just ask Him into your heart,
He is there, you to guide,
Just search His Word to give you a start,
And in His Word, truly abide.
Ask His forgiveness for any wrong,
That you have every done,
And grow in His Word, forever strong,
Thank God, that Jesus was born.
Therefore, don't take the Christ out of Christmas.

Lets Take A Stand

Lets take a stand,
And take the danger out of our streets,
Let's save our land,
And overcome the defeats.
Let's begin a solution,
To the problems we may see,
And stop the pollution'
Of violence and crime, on land and sea.
Let's begin the cultification,
Of our streets, and fields,
And stop the stagnation,
And bring forth yields.
Let's begin the construction,
Of peace and goodwill,
And stop the destruction,
The hate, that can kill.
Let's not make matters worse,
By ignoring all the wrong,
But instead, put it in reverse,
And show our faith, strong.
Let's remember a word of prayer,
And know God is very near,
When in the midst of despair,
Let's count on Him to be there.
