The Garden Of Life

Life is like a garden
Created by our Lord
Tended by our savior
One and all adored
Some grow old and weary
Spreading seeds afar
Some are grown for beauty
So we'd all want more
Some fall by the wayside
To change the plot in which we grow
For in the worldly garden
The savior hoe's the row

The Man

In this world of many wonders
When God created man
The master took his wand
And humbly made him stand
Gave him a heart
Though big or small
Filled it with love
for one and all.
Filled his veins with
liquid gold
To give strength to the weak
And faith to the old.
And when his work on earth
was done,
Softly whispered
close your eyes and
come on home.
