Genie wanted to be a writer at seven. High school graduation present was a year in Norway and Europe. After University she taught school while her Army Medic husband was in war and raised 3 children and now has 8 grandchildren. In the 80's she published a Gothic mystery RAVENSLOCH which sold well. The Dept of Commerce sent the book to London Embassy-International Book Fair. She was director of Public Affairs for the Las Vegas Council, Navy League of the United States and began writing poetry. In Las Vegas-Nevada TIMES she's now editor of 2001 Achievers column and a freelance writer writing by lines and attending many conventions. Genie says, "I'm always optimistic and know if you pick the "right door", a whole new world opens up to you, and I see it happening to me!" |
