I dedicate my poetry to my childhood friend, Kerry Malloy. I recited poetry to her in 1957. I was born in 1953. Divorces and marriages are getting to be like death and taxes. I graduated with a degree in psychology from the Berkeley of the East Coast, Southeastern Massachusetts University (SMU). I work at St. Mary's Home for Children. I like and play golf and bridge. I'm a Boston Red Sox fan(atic). My major influences n life were John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Bob Dylan. My hero, as he should be everyone's hero, is my father Arthur, a WW II veteran. I welcome letters in care of: The International Poetry Hall of Fame, 1 Poetry Plaza, Owings Mills, MD 21117. |
A Poet's PieceHe certainly can be, for mankind,The key. The ocean to yacht, and a find. The sun of the day, a sign. A star For the night sky, For those who fight none. For those adrift, He is our lift He who is sought A way, for those who are afar, For those who have fought. It is he who we buy, he Who is bought. He is the gift, It is he who is wrought, He who has sifted An end to our lot. It is his hour, His power,
But to those who have stalled
. . . of that, what is war
