Garrett has been writing poetry for six years, beginning during his sophomore year in high school. Soon finishing up college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Garrett plans to continue writing poetry. Poetry means as much to him as does his work in engineering. Garrett has had some of his poems published in The National Library of Poetry Anthology Series. Also in his spare time, Garrett has written two fictional novels. He holds his relationships with family and friends as, "the most important forces in my life." Garrett says, "My poems bring out my deepest thoughts and emotions." |

heroshe holds my eye, my eye so clearperilous skin I do review limpid path roams so far away sweet smelling, your fragrance pure laugh out loud and roll with the flowing seasons
you caper so long, you plummet so far
float with feathers and hold that thought outside

Searching For Something I Do Not KnowA world in which I tryto become me, not you nor anyone else I may see Images appear
I think why this, why that Searching for something I do not know
Wondering is a beautiful thing
Sweat dripped down the sun-drenched face
Moistened is the soil
I emerge
