The Sentinel

The squirrel stood guard
Garnered were the walnuts
in my back yard
With the coming of Winter
when the ground was frozen hard
The squirrels came back to the
tree in the yard.

Graphic

The woman sat and scratched her back
The load she carried made her mad
When she saw me she was glad
I had brought her "Pony" back!

Agony

The teacher sat me on a stool
I was dressed to look so "cool"
She made me feel a fool -
I got even on April first
Told her I was giving her a gift
She couldn't find it nowhere -
Now there is a great big rift!
