Frankie is a nickname. Her Christian name is Frances. She is a retired senior citizen. She enjoys sewing and gardening and is an active church member, where she shares her poems in the monthly newsletter, Sunday School and others in the community. Five are published by The National Library of Poetry. She is a member of The International Society of Poets. She started writing in the middle 50s. It is a gift from God. She has many different kinds of religious poems. Writing is an excellent way to do God's will.

The Little Light Bulb

I'm only just passing through this land but once.
The little light bulb, God's light, let it so shine,
as it glows, guides me through storms,
gives me hope to see and understand.

Things seem hard to bare when the devil is loose,
but always remember the Lord thy God to keep
his commandments, love one another in Christ.

The little light bulb is in you and me, through which
God is the power that makes it glow. I'm only
just passing through this land but once,
God's helping hands,
The little light bulb,
let it so shine in me.

If Only For A Moment

In the quiet, listen, listen
to what God has to say.
He's only a prayer away, just
a hint of his presence is joy
to my soul. Listen, listen
to what God has to say, If
only for moment.

He gives peace of mind,
love is all around, his
healing power to rest and
strengthen you. Listen, Listen
to what God has to say,
If only for a moment.

The Face of An Angel

The Lord Jesus Christ, King of Kings.
The savor, a friend, one thats
always there through each hour
of the day or night.

His spirit, OH, is so real
you could touch.
In your darkest hour, he
will give you hope and
hide you under the shadows
of his wings.

Peace he gives, joy he shares,
with love everlasting. His
hands are stretched out. He
is above and more than
all of the angels; and yet,
he has the face of an angel
for you and me.
