JA's Love

A word spoken silently from the light
cuts swiftly cross darkened night
It blossoms out as it makes its path
Those who heed receive a bath
that washes clean and shows the way
to that place from which it came
Those who follow keep Him in sight
who all scripture shows is right
The One from Nazareth born in Bethlehem
Jesus the Son of the Father's hand
Who leads them forward to the land
A home for all who trust His Name
Where is found no turning way in shame
But loving laughter and joy filled peace
A life of righteousness that will never cease

Transcendental Flight

Fluttering lightly cross the breeze
Through starlike skies and shade filled trees
The golden glow of azure skies
Slowly comes to fill the eyes
The scene below quickly shifts
Bringing forth hidden new found gifts
Colors skintling in bright hue
Melding with a pure light truth
Filled with secrets known in youth
Following beyond through day and night
The distant path of dove's flight
Spirit leaps to broader heights
Past all-known expance, unseen sights
To that place from which all grows
Finding there one who sold
one who bought and one who stole
And the One who gave a river flow
That fills and frees the wearied soul
Carrying on ever toward the life
Found in the One named Jesus, who is Christ

Spring-tide Morn

The sun shines brightly overhead
Mounted in azure frame
Flowers bloom from earthen bed
And in dazzling array of color reign
Distant grove breaks forth in a million blossoms
With promise of fruit to be shared
Clear cool streams gurgle by resounding awesome
With life giving liquid freely bared
A delicate rose gently buds
giving gifts for two young in love
Immortal paradise newly reborn
Always fading toward new life
like ocean tide or springtime morn
Within fresh and glorious light
From deep dark slumber
Into days without number
Ever pristine positive and true
With loving laughter for Us We U
