I've been writing poetry since 1970. I'm a Sales Associate for a large department store in Dayton, Ohio. I'm a single mother of four children. My hobbies include writing songs, stories, and love relationship tests. I invent board games, cook, draw, and play bass guitar. I use poetry to express my inner most feelings about people, love, and life. Poetry is just one avenue I use to express my own perception of the world. I have poetry published in The Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum, in a book called "Treasured Poems of America." I hope to write novels and movies someday. |
You SaidYou said, I don't want to hurt you, I just need some time. But for two weeks or more, you said you were mine. Was I just dreaming, why didn't I see that sooner or later, this would come to be. The doubting, the silence, the acting on edge
Was I mistaken? I didn't get a clue.
You lied. |

LIFE IS GOD'S GIFT TO MAN. HOPE IS THE WANTING OF A BETTER FUTURE OF A RICHER MEANING OF WHAT LOVE IS ALL ABOUT. I NEED YOU YOU NEED ME OUR NEED FOR EACH OTHER. CHILDREN NEED HOPE TO FEEL THERE IS A BETTER LIFE FOR NOW, AND FOR THEIR FUTURE. WE NEED HOPE TO SURVIVE THE BLOWS OF LIFE! |

I PACE THE FLOOR, THE HOUSE SOME MORE,
WHEN I ASK FOR LESS, NOT MORE.
