My pen name is Farhad. Education in business studies, mostly achieved in England, concluded by MBA. Current occupation businessman/poet, having had my poetry published in domestic national newspapers and by the National Library of Poetry, the latter has presented me Editor's Choice Awards, too. A lifetime and distinguished member of the International Society of Poetry. Writing poetry enables me to relax and fine tune my inner self, enjoying some happy moments.

Love Story

Strangers when we meet
Shivering with thrills
Looking forward to a treat
Thinking what the other thinks

Sharing common feelings
Wondering what will be on the next reelings

We get coy and contemplate on our chances
When will be holding passionate dances

We have joy and fun
Which make our relationship to flourish on

Before we know we are together
Loving and caring for each other

Now the strangers of yesterday
Are the happy lovers of today
That is the natural way
To strive for a life of happy way

Although the best thing in life is free
But that doesn't give happiness a guarantee.

Life

Where there is life there is love
Where there is love there is life
Life and love are like pigeon and dove
Love and life are like husband and wife

A child when born
Can not survive on his own
Has to be nourished
Has to be nursed
Has to be wrought up
Has to be brought up
This has to be done
For human race to go on
Only love sees this through
Those who fail to offer fall through

Life is about nature
We are all part of its pasture
The pasture is too precious and beautiful
To be destroyed by a handful

We should all strive
For joyful life
We must all unite
For peace and happiness to ignite
