I was born in Odessa, Russia, mother father english, mother French, my daddy was born in Salsburg. Both families came to Odessa, as Catherine the Great opened land. Mother and daddy met very young and married She 18 He 20. When my sister 1 and I 6 she come home from school with scarlet fever, no cure then. He told my mother I must leave go to grand parents. In short time, my sister, brother 5 years and sister 4 years old died. Such Heart Break mother's cousin in U.S. (Oregon) having come 3 years before, heard and wrote daddy" bring mother and one left to America, start a new Life away from graveyard. And made all plans, in mid ocean 1914. Kaiser Declared War as reached U.S. we only ones left off ship, all others back to Germany, such heavy break for all cousin helped us get settled in home near friends, who has a girl 6 years too. She took me to her school - surely a blessing as nuns ever demanded respect so I learned very young "Love a great Blessing, Parents taught me Love of God," parents, friends, country all special Blessings.I had a wonderful childhood and young life, full of love and opportunities praying for true Love and guidance helped. Choose the right mate for Me and this, he's been all our life. It will be 65 years anniversary (Valentine's Day - He 91 and I 89 - yes we Truly thank God - for all Blessings)Yes it's been difficult to write such a full blessed life in limited words. I've been asked to write - more - maybe I will yet - I'm not proud but ever grateful - only be worthly of such great "Love".
