I love poetry and I have for about 19 years. I love the lord deeply and all my poems are
always expressing his deep love for us. People places and thing will always change but the love one feels for our Savior will last forever. It is somewhat as close as our love for our children starting with the oldest. Bobby, Billy, Brian, and Brice, my four sons, are grown-up now and on their own. Billy, who I call Mike, lives at home with me. He may have been in a wheelchair for 10 years now but he never mentions it. Mike has a deep love for Jesus as do I.

 Still 10 Years Of Faith

My son no longer walks but this is not the end,
cause we have a friend in Jesus and this we can depend.

Mike you are so special and so close to my heart,
Im thankful to our lord your here and for our Brand new start.

I've cried an awful lot Mike just like you say I do,
But their only tears of Joy son because I still have you.

My son Mike that I remember just ran all around,
not once to even notice his pants were falling down.

We didn't have new things son we always had the old,
But we had a full stomach and we were out of the cold.

Your no longer a boy Mike your this wonderful man,
10 years in a wheel chair and you faith still with stands.

Im not feeling well either your their when Im in pain,
I don't have to holler Mike I just call out your name.

You wheel right there for me son and I listen as you pray,
and you stay rite there beside me till my pain just goes away.

I loved you as my little boy and now my grown up man,
I can explain things better now because you understand.

I love you as my grown up man yet miss that little son,
Who used to let his pants hang down if even just for fun.
.p.s. my son Mike is my pleasure.

Jesus Sets Us Free

How much hurt and how many cries,
Will it take until you realize.

There's only one Jesus in this life we go through,
But we have to serve Jesus, it's all up to you.

This world has really done nothing for me,
When I turned to my Jesus He set me free.

I can feel Jesus' love just flowing through me,
What a beautiful feeling of being set free!

So won't you ask him shouldn't you try,
Fall down on your knees, He will certainly know why.

What a wonderful Savior we should all serve,
Not just in spirit but in faith, deed, and word.

But He has risen He's alive as can be,
He left that cross He has risen, you see.

So why can't you tell HIm how much you care,
He's loving and wonderful, no one can compare.

Oh, precious Jesus my Lord and my Savior,
You died for us, you're our eternal Lord and Savior.

This isn't just a poem you merely read through,
Ask the Lord in your heart it's all up to you.
