Freligion

Guaranteed under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution,
Among other liberties is freedom of religion;
Anyone can worship God or gods and idols one believes in,
Or can be faithful of faithless or anything between.

This freedom enjoyed under the law is noteworthy,
As the first couple in Eden was given liberty;
God wants us to obey and live with Him forever;
But gives us freedom to choose and consequences to bear.

God knew even before He created the first man and woman.
That we'll make bad choices and hide from Him if we can;
That's why grace was provided thru Christ Jesus the Son,
Those who believe, repent and obey Him theirs is salvation.

Should man to whom the God-given freedom was shown.
Impose their righteousness on others who have choices of
their own?
Because man makes many a wrong and foolish decision,
Christ's death on the cross for all to be saved
in the reason.

ASSURANCE OR ARROGANCE

Certainty is one of many a man's desire,
That's why insurance business has become an empire;
But can we really be very very sure,
On the things we do now for the future?

If self is the factor in gaining assurance,
By doing good all we can is pure arrogance;
Assurance in Him and thru Him only should be foremost,
Not in self nor of works lest anyone should boast.

Doubt has no room in a life of faithfulness,
When His will blends with ours in the spirit of oneness.
The product is assurance in the omnipotent One,
Who provides the power til victory is won.

Through faith we have been saved by grace,
It's the gift of God whose will should we embrace;
With Him who's able salvation is assured,
For those whose trails to the end are endured.

MONEY

Of all commodities where on Planet Earth are available,
Money is unique - tho small and lean tis very durable;
From hand to hand it goes, never gets tired always strong,
Stacked with its kind for sometime but not for long.

Even when it's torn and worn out it never depreciates.
It's value remains the same whatever price it dictates;
Some people love it, others want it and everybody needs it.
Life's temporal and perishable necessities it can meet.

As a present it's never returned for replacement
It's always the right size for anyone in any event;
Though multiples of it are received on a given occasion.
None duplicates the other that needs substitution.

It is said that the best things in life are free,
Those who love the Lord have no love for money;
Since money represents only what it can buy,
The priceless our Lord provides as we see eye to eye.
