I have been writing poetry since 1979, when God's spirit inspired me to write. I became reborn during 1972. I am employed through the school district here in Long Beach, CA where I live! I work with special needs students - handicapped. I am a eucharistic minister, through my church, meaning I help my priest administer communion during services and it is a GREAT JOY FOR ME TO SERVE MY LORD! Some of my poetry has been published in books, through The National Library of Poetry. I have written and continue to write about God, family, life situations, and whatever God inspires me to write about...

Almighty Father God's Blessings

Almighty God's blessings, love so real ....to feel, his spirit swell
in my soul. Today I feel as never before ....the soreness from longing
filled with joy! Joy to give him divinely honors righteously bestowed
listen sisters and brothers! The word honor needs to be honors;
when I feel inspiration to write, such inspiration with all my heart
soul & might! The love that I feel is so genuinely real,
that his spirit fulfills my grateful soul. Almighty God you have
quenched my thirst .... how my spirit bursts with eternal gratitude.

I Devote My Life To God

I devote my life to almighty father God,
Jesus is my saving rod. Faithfully I live
my life first for him, not to fleshly whim!!
Since my rebirth - my salvation - peace
of soul - celebration !! Twenty four years
of spiritual growth - Father, Son, Holy Ghost!
No! My life will never be the same saintly
fame, is what I found, love of Christ all
abound! This fleshly life is but a flicker
of time. Although at times pain, tribulation
and strife, shouts of jubilation. I will not rot,
I will not flee, nor be stung by venomous
bees! Father time chimes to and fro -
carnal saints in a row! Jesus will come
to take me home.
