Autumn

Oh! The beauty of autumn
It's delightful to behold
Leaves of orange, red and gold.

The trees are in their glory
Just before the leaves fall and die
As the Christmas tree at Christmas
Shines bright, under God's sky.

What a wonderful season!
My favorite time of year
How could we ever think
That God is not near?

Such breathtaking beauty
We appreciate so much
All because of God's
Own touch.

Winter Time At Whitehall

Winter Time at Whitehall is glorious sight to behold.
The snow piled high really catches the eye,
And some snow birds are still flying high.

There are deer tracks here and there,
Raccoons and squirrels are around.
The trees are bare but in the air.
God's glory really abounds.

Hillside Lodge has a wonderful setting.
We gather round the cozy fireplace.
Dear God, I hope we're not forgetting
Your love, your concern and your grace.

A familiar sight -- is getting stuck in the ditch.
We get out the tractor and soon we are hitched,
And on our way -- Praising the Lord
For all the blessings He can afford.

The snow will melt, and spring will come.
And soon the Youth Camps will start.
Then, Camp Meeting and the grounds will hum,
And praises will flow from the heart.

Heavenly Thoughts

My thoughts go Heavenward now.
I've learned through the years
To hold back the tears.
Because of You. I'm a much
Stonger person now.
Dear Lord Jesus, Please take a bow.

Because of You, I have hope and joy
Because of You, I will make it through,
I hope I can take others too.
Through this world I have learned one thing.
Oh! What Great Joy our Savior brings.
