Edna hopes to make a contribution to social change by using the sounds of poetry as an instrument of spiritual healing. Using "LOVE" as the common theme for promoting psychological well-being, her poetry is designed to restore self-esteem to it's rightful place in the human experience without compromising the concept of self-sacrifice in the experience of things divine.

HEAVEN SENT

As the clock ticked off the hours
And the natal day drew near
The little angels all drew straws
To see who'd get to come down here
The Spiritual Guardians Of Peace
Raised their eyes to the steeple
That the right straw should be drawn
To bring a message of love to the people
To maintain the peace for God's chosen few
They said "It's time for a GIRL to be born"
To ease the pain the world's going through
It takes the gentle hand of a woman to
Remove The Thorn

FROM THE BOOK OF LETTERS #871

Dear Father:
This world is suffering from symptoms Of
spiritual detachment
That's creating an epidemic
Of MIND DIS-EASE
Medical Science has diagnosed
And called it a Brain Disorder
But in their search for a cure
They have not yet discovered
That it starts with the knees
Following the rule of teaching in parable
I told the story of A special love
Hoping to leave them with a clue
That love is the key to Spiritual Healing
And in their search for the greatest
It would lead them back to you!

All my love,
Your Angel
