Empty Headed

The quagmire of thought
Stifles and expressions.
It will not be caught.
You have only the vision
Altruistic, unpure.
Bedeviling,
Words unsure,
Confusing,
Unsnatchable
From the blue.
Thoughts inescapable,
No cue!
Opening to ecstasy
When they are found.
Excruciating fantasy!
Bound to this Damned Computer!

Comfortable Birds

The Sparrows in winter
Come to share the warm sun,
In summer the shade.
Our presence do not deter.
They gleefully eat and have fun,
Until the Blackbirds do raid.
The Doves of many types
Coo us to sleep at night.
Their call is for a mate.
The Mocking birds clear their pipes,
Bob Whites say, "Not quite!".
These wonderful sights and sounds
Desolve our Hate
For what we humans have done
To this beautiful place called
Earth!

Lost In The Abyss!

The loneliness within
screams for...
For what?
Searching mind, soul,
And feelings.
Lost in direction.
Grasping nothing.
The void is endless,
Rushing to what?
Desperately seeking,
What?
Will it ever be found?
Something to leach,
Draw within
To heal the Emptiness!
