I was born in 1947. I studied liberal arts with a specialization in French and German at Washington University and University of Illinois. In 1973 I received an M.A. in French from the University of California at Davis, California and a Ph.D. in 1980. I have taught college level French for seven years and German for one ½ years. At the present time, I am doing translations in French, German, and Spanish as well as tutoring. My poetry explores religious and mystical themes and in it I seek to honor the Gods and Goddesses of all times and places.

El-Elion

From the White star of God the Thought of God
Oh El-Elion, the highest God of the Jewish Cabala
From all things comes the beginnings of tome in the creation
Of the cosmos and the biocosmos and the diacosmos
All in all to return to the circle at the edge of time at the edge
Of the universe at the beginning of time
Oh Adam Khadmon the Thought of God and Jesus Christ was born at
Bethlehem
Oh El-Elion the highest God of the Jewish Cabala
Oh Yaweh You talked to Moses and Jesus Christ
Oh El-Elion you are the God of all the Gods
The highest of all the Gods and You are a male God
From the beginnings of time in the beginnings of time
Through the eyes of the wisdom of Shiva
Through Ourobourouw the cosmic serpent oh cosmic fire
You fell to earth All in all to return to the divine center
And El-Elion is above El-Shaddai
White fire black fire red fire the cosmic serpents of time
And Yaweh was in the Ark and so was El-Elion the highest God
of all the Gods

Divine Mother Pele

In endless night eternal shadow volcanic fire
Upon the moon
And day burns red in an eclipse of the Earth
Through the death of the moon
Ancient worlds in extrophy
Through a vision of fire
Oh Kiluae, art thou the House of the Moon as
Haleakala is the House of the Sun
Endless shadow of ancient worlds
Through a vision of fire
The House of the Moon in the House of the Sun
Oh Divine Mother Pele, will the Earth return to
Ash in an alchemical purification like the phoenix
In volcanic fire
The moon and the Sun
And endless universes on fire
Oh, Divine Mother Pele, art thou a Daughter of Maya
And of the Endless Cycles of Universal flux
Thou art not the end of time for the Earth, but its Rebirth

Horace

Through the mouth of a thousand suns
Endless vision eternal time
Son of Isis and Osiris
Through thy vision the eclipse of the Nile
The endless breath of Egypt
From the soul of the moon
The Merkebah and the Archangelic kingdoms
From the sun the solar and lunar tides
Within the moon the souls of Egyptians past, Oh Horace
