Prairie du Soc, Wisconsin

I have been expressing thoughts and feelings through poetry off and on since I was a child. I don't read novels because my life has been a novel. Basic work experiences include 30 years in various capacities in education and most recently taking care of my mother for her family for 12 years. I have had a number of publications and plan to spend time on my own creative endeavors, with illustrations, relating to my interests and experiences in life, including my 16 years in Japan. I am currently working on poetry about women of the Bible, called, "Intrigue"

Lot's Wife

If you want to bring your happiness to a halt
Look back you'll turn into a pillar of salt.

The Samaritan Woman

"I was standing by the well
Feeling low-
A Samaritan woman out of
societies flow-
Though I was a horrible sinner
Jesus turned things around
And made me a winner."
