Doris June Fields

Newburgh, New York

Doris June Fields, "June Fields", was born 4/30/36.
Education: The best school is life!
Children: 4 boys , 1 girl , 3 grandchildren.
Philosophy: Life is like a Thin Thread: I can go on and on. Sometimes it is broken and put together with a knot. Other times it is all tangled up and difficult to find the end. As you try to undo the tangle you find so many ways, some work, a lot don't . The harder you try, the more patience you learn. Then lifes Thin Thread will be woven into a Beautiful Tapestry. But achieve the best of quality. You must use a helping hand, a good word, a forgiving heart and always a bright smile!

Why Judge

Please judge me not by my outer shell.
Judge me not from what others tell.
Do not take heed of my skin.
Please, it does not matter if I am fat or thin.
Does it matter, if I am dumb or smart?
No! just look at what God has put into my heart.

God Keep Children Free

As I watch children at play.
So happy and gay.
So full of love and fun.
Some day so very soon will they hate?
Will this be their fate?
As, they grow older, will they hate
other's?
Or will they love as sisters, and brothers?
Oh, God, please keep their hearts
pure and free.
May every word they speak be full
of love because of thee.

Don't Ask Why

Oh small sweet child do not weep.
For God has given us a bed of grass
on which to sleep.
God gives us his gentle love to keep
us warm.
A blanket of stars that can not
be torn.
The soft cool rain to wash away
The dust of the day.
So wipe the tear from your eye!
Thank God for each and don't ask why!
