Our School for Killing

It's still laying heavily upon our mind
The way the children died
By the hands of selfish, crazed and evil ones
There are not enough tears to cry

An unsuspecting war on peaceful grounds
Carried out by so very few
Children, and teachers running here and there
Not knowing exactly what to do

Guns blazing admist verbal rambling, and laughter
Bragging as to why it was being done
Cursing the people who had shunned them
For not accepting them as one

Wild cries, and money pleading
Did not stop their revenge
They wanted everyone to suffer
With them, until the end

Who will we blame for our children's terrorism?
We brought it on ourselves
By a slow feeding that makes us "human robots."
TWhile living individually in our hells

Oh yes! We have done it.
For years violenced has been praised
In books, movies, TV, Internet, songs and games
Now you expect the dysfunctional to mend their ways?

You helped create all of these terrible monsters
And all of their "copy cats"
You know children are impressionable
Still you gave them all the bad facts

In their boredom and rejection
Hatred took on its ugly "chance"
Getting other fools to listen and follow
Intimidating the masses at a glance

With a raging personal war inside of them
Is it my imagination that now you're satisfied?
Or rather should you really start reteaching values
Such as love, human kindness, togetherness, and pride.

Let us not have any more killings.
Our children are our future to be.
Try giving them something more worthwhile to do..
With acceptance, more guidance, and understanding, their goodness you will see.

We adults are not being honest with ourselves.
And that's what our children are seeing we lack.
Some disillusioned children are taking some drastic mesaures.
In the ways they are fighting society back

Oh yes we are to blame.
For what our children try to portray.
let us, now, change quickly towards "Love."
Vow in honesty to make better every new day.

Give more attention to our children.
Remembering that idleness is a curse.
Stop being selfish with time spent with our children.
Stop making matters worse.

Giving "love" not sex is the answer.
Give more of yourself and you will see
Our children will change right along with us.
Loving, peaceful, and productive, once more we can be.

Oh yes, we ultimately are the teachers
We're living in a school without a wall.
And if we don't about face now, to change our ways
Our whole society will crumble and fall.
