Conocer de Vista

Kind of like leather, stiff-
yet pliable.
Others are brittle and sharp..
outlined by dull passion
in bright hues of make believe colors.
Kind of like music...
Heard by the deaf and sought
by the blind.
A rhythm...of time.
Prominently hidden, simply intricate.
All alive? Yes.
But with life?
Kind of like dew..glistening like diamonds.
A rich man's dream.
Yes, glistening. Hark! - the surface only.
The surface only...
Kind of like knowledge.

TORBELLINO

Whirlwind Whirlwind
In again gone again.
Oh Whirlwind little Whirlwind.
Memories of then
Smiles of now,
here again gone again
Oh Whirlwind little Whirlwind.

For an instant-
A fleeting instant!
Just to remember just to be-
there again gone again
Oh Whirlwind, little Whirlwind.
Here again gone again
My Whirlwind my little Whirlwind.

AMERICAN DREAM

The American Dream is one of a kind,
It's in the heart it's in the mind.
You lay awake in the middle of the night,
Wondering what it will be like
Then tomorrow dawns, off to work you go
Five o'clock comes, another days gone.
Will you ever know what it would be like
To make your dreams come true
If all you ever do is dream?
