Flickering Desire

Within myself I fight I struggle.
Knowing there is something for me,
About me that makes me special.

My soul, how it loves me so. It being
Me fights with all it's love.
Wanting more of the light less of,
Darkness.

Knowingly I thought the travel would
Be glorious but in it's shortness
As the next hill stared me directly.

With each passing step upwardly
I grasp for the light ensuring it would stay.
Losing sight of the obstacle, blocking the light.

Passage

As high on a mountain that I stand.
Looking down, looking up disbelieving
where I am.

Looking beyond the mirror at
Who I am.
A lifetime person to
Understand.

Pitching the pieces of who I was
To the pigeons, the sparrows,
The doves.

With each pieces that drops in the sea.
My soul sings loudly.
Me really being me.

Exist

If you saw the gates of heaven
Knowing you were there.
Would you tell anyone?
That you had been there.

Taking on a bended brow with
The mere thought.
Thinking I was crazy.
Wondering when I would be caught.

I'm not any religion but my
Faith carries me thru.
But what would you say?
What would you do?
