I believe that with the tiniest amount of faith it is easy to see that "creatures" must have a "creator". And I also believe our Creator speaks to us in many and varied ways if we simply pay attention. Hence, Our Lord speaks to us in every day events (parables) which we can learn to read by the power of His Holy Spirit. The language of Truth found in nature is therefore understandable via the "Field Guide to Our Creator" is our Holy Bible. Ask and we receive.

The Wilted Rose

I once observed a wilted Rose
Clipped before its time
How sad it was to see
It broke this heart of mine
I thought of what might have been
Bad this Rose been left to grow
The beauty of a single flower
For all the world to know
But then again I thought
There's more here to learn
The thought of resurrected love
Does make my heart to burn
Herein lies the secrest of love and life
For all of us to share
Give thanks and praise to God
For wilted Rose to bear
This Rose I saw and understood
That hang upon the tree
He wilted, died and rose again
Just for love of me.

The Cross And The Crib

'Twas just before Christmas
Just before dawn
I woke from my slumber
With a stretch and a yawn
There was the cross
And there was the tree
And there was an angel
Looking down at me
There was the crib
And there was the star
And there was the child
To explain who we are
The morn was silent
No sound but the wind
To announce the greatest day
That's ever been
I wrote this all down
As it was given to me
That all might see the Word
That sets us free.
