I work as a patient care assistant in a hospital in Lorain, Ohio. I have a Psychology degree. My first teacher of poetry was Lou Suarez. I've been published by The National Library of Poetry. Also, lyrics were released. I look for groups who would like to consider my lyrics or poems. Writing poetry is my release and expression when I feel my emotions intensifying. My favorite poet is Mary Hazel Roque, who brings out the creative poetic energy within me, to whom I dedicate these three poems, and who shares with me a deep emotional intensity. |
HAZELWOODMy love for you is evaporatingencompassing the world surrounding the outer atmosphere hoping to absorb through you My love for you stagnates within the depths of my spirit seeping through crevasses like the sap from a tapped maple tree As it flows to earthly grounds absorbing through the nearby soil nourishing the undergrowth while my roots slowly choke in the thirst Hazelwood, Hazel is still so magical mystifying my sensibilities bringing me to my last great hope rekindling life's complete pleasantry |
A MISTI hold my love for youLike wintry trees hold snow Whistling wind, my chilled spirit How will I let you go? The earth remains so frozen Waveless seas remember your sweet breeze My heart's rhythm had chosen Hazel to dance without me Loving once more lifted my life Your melodious music held my care Your gentle eyes shimmered brightly Why did I think our love should endure? Never did I want us to step away Nor did I wish your sun to wince When deep dark clouds shadowly say Sunshine's timing was just a mist |
INSIGHTCaught in your breathless eyesGlimpsing at what you may say Expressing what your facade hides Please don't look away! My eyes see yours look into me The eagle sees through trees You seem to communicate silently A whisper of falling leaves My love for you will never lessen I care about your every glance My love for you forever deepened Forgive my heart for missing a chance The river ripples in your eyes Your lashes foresee a breeze Around you I hold no disguise For your delicate eyes move me |
