Christine has been writing for a few years now she finds its hard to express herself so writing is her voice within. Christine has battled a lot in life but is a true fighter and writing poetry and essays is inspirational, relaxing and helps her alot. She was an honor student, Spelling Bee champ, track team winner and is a Registered Author published in several anthologies She loves children, has been a nanny, paralegal and nurses assistant. She plans to to start E.M.T school soon. Christine is always pushing herself to be the best she can be.

How can you feel like holding on,
when all of your faith has come & gone?
How do you make the days get better
some days can't even write a letter?
How do you fight for happiness everyday
when it always seems to be taken away?
How do you get over getting so close
to all the people you love the most?
How can all the hurt inside go away
when it feels it gets stronger everyday?
How sometimes can you feel so bad
when there's so much love- but yet some sad?
How do you go on day by day
when the sky above just stays so grey?
How do you get the strength to make things right
and have no more fears especially at night?
How can you deal with so much at a time
work on so much and make it fine?
Well - How can all these feelings change
don't' quite know yet, it feels so strange!

Mother Nature

Winter, spring, summer and fall
Snow, sun and rain
And the leaves that fall
The seasons that change
just come and go
It's all part of life
we all get to know
It's beauty and wonder we all wait to see
But mother nature makes it
the way she wants it to be.

Did you ever really love someone
with all your heart and soul
Make them your main priority
your endless ultimate goal
You try so hard for them
to see your love so true
And ask yourself why?
Why can't you love me too?
The feelings that you have
are so intense and strong
you wonder if these feelings
that I have can be wrong
Just being near them
make your body tingle
But inside you wonder
are they taken or single
Did you ever really love someone
with dreams of them with you
Ask yourself again and again
