Seattle, Washington, USA

I love poety and writing stories, but thru the years I have been raising a family and have not had time to devote much time to what I love, but now my family is raised and I have many grandchildren and great grand children, so I am trying to write and do something for myself to fell fulfilled. I am 74 years old, but very active, always on the go and keep busy. I am very proud to have been chosen to be in the Museum.

The Olympic Hotel

There will never be another
Thru all the years she's been elegant
The parties, the dance
The memories that people shared
Around the glove, thru the years
Her glory dies with them all
But for all who knew and loved her
She will always be the grand old girl
With her golden ceilings
Her copper doors
Her silver and beautiful paintings
She will be in our memories always
And as her old personality dies
And her new personality emerges
May she still be the proud lady
She has always been.

My Love

My love is gone
He will rest now
His years were hard
A young man in trouble
We married when I was young
Our lives had happy times
Our lives had sad times
We had five children
We have one angel in heaven
We were divorced
He spent six years in prison
When he returned
He was changed
He was a good Father
We married again
We both worked for years
Our children all married
It was hard before he died
But now he is gone
Now I have two Angels in Heaven.
