Carolyn Ann O'Riley is an artist, writer, and spiritual teacher. She has been published in journals, magazines, and books. Carolyn has written 12 books which include some children's selections. She currently is working on her grandmother's biography, The Lady of Court Square: The Biography of Eva Caroline Whitaker Davis, A Lady of Courage That Would Not Accept Defeat. Her art work has been use in such prestigious places as the Mansion on Turtle Creek. When The World Is At PeaceWhen the World is at peaceThe children will grow. They'll embrace life And be excited, just to see snow. The children will flourish And become a loving kind Grateful and thankful For all that is Thine. When the World is at peace The water will be clean The air clear Everything sparkling and pristine. The People of Earth Will join hand in hand To rebuild the past And repair our great Land. When the World is at peace There will be love and joy Mother Earth will be smiling There will be more light for every girl and boy. The Creator has given us Grace To create and change It is time to accept the challenge To work together to restore the disarrange. The Universe has given us the keys To make the violence cease The Planet glorious once again When the World is at peace. |
PathfinderIn the darkness still and silentLight beams dance upon my ceiling. Sleepily my eye lids close, Drifting, drifting, consciousness leaving. Sending me to Visions and dreaming, Resting until morning twilight. Love surrounding, safe and peaceful God's protection always present. Angels present ever watching As we stir and wake upon a new day dawning. The miracle of life repeats itself We are blessed with one more day.
