I was born in Coldwater, MI on January 1, 1950. I have resided in Battle Creek, MI all of my life; other than living in Ansbach, West Germany for 2 years with my first husband, while he was in the service. My education includes: Graduate of Battle Creek Central High School, 1968 and also took a course for writing children's books (Institute of Children's Literature). My current occupation is as a Homemaker. My interests are crocheting, bowling, watching car races, writing and 13 grandchildren. My memberships include: National Honor Society, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the Polish National Alliance Club. My inspiration began with reading poetry in junior high school. My biggest source of inspiration was my mother (now deceased 6/19/96). Her encouragement gave me the courage to continue my writing. Presently, my new husband, Robert, whom I married on Valentines Day, 1997, is my biggest inspiration. |
Winter's MasterpieceGently, Innocently, the snowflakes fall to the ground;Quietly, Shyly, Virginal; Everywhere to be found. Beauty, Enchanting, dancing merrily;
Silently, Tranquilly; Nature's way of Art transformed;
"Untouched" beauty, changing shades of greens & browns
to white;
A Masterpiece of Unknown talent; expressing one's unrest,
Winter's Masterpiece; pleasure in a child's eyes -
Nature's Professional painting; forming a chill to run
Winter's Masterpiece to Mankind; A peaceful offering -
Untouched by beauty, formed by Crystallization -

Nature's CallThe warmth of the newborn air . . .Sunshine, glistening softly over the Earth below - Children romping joyfully in the park; Spring - oh beautiful Spring! Venturing cautiously towards the path of the 'timely' Season. Love - In the Air; Everywhere -
Embryonic blossoms begin to emerge;
Ah, Spring! Nature's apology for Old Man
