"I have a poem in a capsule that is to be opened in the year 2091 (The Pegasus Time Capsule). I write from experience and from my deep inner thoughts and common sense. I write to be funny, happy, and sad. It's a good release of self. I write to make a point and to make others feel they are important and that they count in this world and to me. Life itself is a poem. You only have to look at it through my eyes. " |
My OpinionI would be less than I am, if I didn't say what I have to (or had to). If I didn't express my feelings and thoughts, my life would be but like a leaf falling from a tree and blown out of sight by the wind. I'm just one person with just one opinion. Maybe one day that opinion will help someone in need and make a difference in their lives and even the world. It might take thousands of opinions before that one will make a difference but, I will keep on giving as long as any one wants my opinion. Someday it is bound to make a difference. No one has to agree with me, but someone will and who knows what will happen because of it, only good I hope.
I sit here alone most all of the times with no one to
care or pay me no mind. They're drained me of my youth and prime, and now
for me they have no time. To be alone when your young is all good and well
but when you're OLD it hurts like hell! |
TimeTime is so precious, yet so annoying. You can't see it,
you can't feel it, it's everywhere, yet it's no where. Your day begins
with it, your nights end with it. Time stands still, yet it flys by so
fast. Time can mean life or death to some. There's a time to love, a time
to cry, a time to laugh,a time to work, a time to play, a time to sleep,
a time to pray. Time is around us everywhere. We can't stop it, we can't
make it go away. Time is one thing the whole world has in common. Everything
and everyone exists and comes together with time. There is nothing you
can do or say against time to make a difference to time. It just keeps
on ticking away, every second, every minute of every day. It never pauses
to be refreshed. It never stops to take a rest. No one knows where those
used seconds, minutes and hours go. No, no one knows. A Woman A womans place is in the home. She cannot go, she cannot
roam. A few years back this was the rage, to keep a woman in a cage. To
clean the house and feed the dogs and even sometimes slop the hogs. But
times have changed you can't deny, a woman now is very sly. She doesn't
have to reason why. She comes and goes and speaks her mind, and someday
soon I'm sure she'll find the good old days are far behind. |
Monkeys and TalentSome people say that man comes from monkeys but the Good
Book tells it different and brother if you believe what some people say.
I'd rather be that monkey then you any old days. Speaking of talents which
I wasn't. Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your
gift back to God. NamesI've been called stupid. I been called dumb. I've been
called lots of things and then some, but I'm smart enough to know I'm just
as good as you and so, I say to you who call me names. I hold no of rudge
or place no blame. Being stupid is some times smart and playing dumb is
just a part of life, and one of the smartest people I know is ME. |
