Oceanside SunsetThe ocean is aglow as the sunstarts to set, Sending an artistic pattern as God's creations met. What a glorious experience to behold such a sight, Knowing full well it will bring on the night. Savoring the moment ere the sun sets behind the sea, Inhaling all the beauty which God gave us for free. So calming, so serene, is this moment in time, The ultimate of beauty, the apex of sublime. As darkness descends and the sun is no more, The waves rolling in, lapping at the shore, An evening of splendor was mine for the taking, As will be the sunrise upon awaking. | UnbornAn unborn child I will not hear, cry,Nor get to cradle and sing "Rock-a-Bye". My womb is empty of a human soul, Arms outstretched won't attain their goal. The Lord has the answer--we question why. The pain is immense, but I shall try, Strive to overcome my loss and move ahead, Til perhaps another soul fills the empty bed. | Love IsLove is inward beauty outwardlyexpressed. Love is appreciating everything, expecting nothing, and giving all. Love is handling today's problems and burying yesterday's failures. Love is the clasp of a hand to warm a despairing soul. Love is an implement used to heal an ache and right a wrong. Love is God in His Heaven emitting daily graces to his flock. |
