My Inspiration

I never knew such peace and joy
until I met you.
And now I have enough of both
to last my whole life thru
When sadness fills my heart
As it does now and then
You're always kind enough
To renew my hopes again
I only wish everyone could have
the peace of mind I do.
And the love and joy I've known
Since I've met you.

Remembering Mama

I remember Mama
With her kind and gentle ways
The love and care she gave us
In the Golden yesterdays
She was a charming woman
with an elfin quality
that stamped itself upon your soul
and in your memory.
We didn't have her very long
As she hadn't come to stay.
But the memories she left us
Will never go away.

Thank You Lord

Dear Lord, I truly know
That time cannot change
The glow of the sunset,
The beauty of the flowers,
Nor the color of the rainbow.
Or the sparkle of the stars
in the Heavens above.
Nor the warm special sharing
of two hearts in love.
And I am glad you know
that every day I do my best,
To encourage others to believe in you.
And always be honest and true.
For it matters not if we're rich or poor
We always know you will be there
To give us some of your care.
We understand what you suffered for us
When you died upon the cross.
And now that you're in Heaven above
Thank you for your everlasting Love.
