I have been writing poetry for most of fifteen years. I am a retired nurse. I am also an active church member. My other hobby is visiting many nursing homes and giving big hugs and teddy bears to each resident. I have two grown sons, whom I enjoy very much. My poetry has been published by The National Library of Poetry. Also, it has been published in our local newspapers. My motto for writing poetry is "rhyme with reason." Achievements are: Editors Choice Award, also Certificate of Poetic Achievements. A lifetime member of The International Society of Poets. |
Teddy Bear TherapySomewhere out there a child has a need,For love, hugs, kisses and good deeds. A Teddy Bear has come to the rescue,
Let's put it all together and yield to their dreams,
Don't forget the elderly in nursing home care,
Why not give someone a Teddy Bear today,

Sweet Memories of GrammyFrom toddler to teens, Grammy was always there,to protect and love us, she even hugged our teddy bear. Looking through photo albums brought back tears,
It's now memories of our favorite Gram,
Treasured love goes out to her forever,
