This poetry is dedicated to my parents, Robert Daniel and Dorothy Florie Watson.  They never gave up on me or my sisters and brothers, no matter how difficult we became.

Robert Daniel's bank investments paralleled his investments in his children.   Dorothy Florie attended every school: Play, concert, Bazaar and Game, while being employed full time.  Thank you Father and Mother!!  I was educated in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Temple University and The Pennsylvania State University.  I have taught children from kindergarten through sixth grade.   Poetry is a joy I love to share.

Amusement

Seriously seeking
Sycophants
With Obsequious Tendencies.

Alligator Spy

My tough hero "Alligator"
Has a
Soft,
Vulnerable side
That I
Love to spy.

Ceilings

Come join me
My love
As I stride
Through "The Glass Ceiling"
His Reply,
Only for a moment
My love
While you are there
For I am an Artist
In heart, mind, and soul.
So are you
Even if, for now,
You decline.
Visit You?... Yes
But only a short time
Until you Return
To the world of Art.
Which is truly thine.

Procrastination Allegation

I can go tomorrow
Well ... maybe
I can always go
Next week
Maybe ...
I'll go!   I'll go !!
Perhaps . . . soon...
