I am writing a novel set in the largs on the west coast of Scotland, Glasgow and Donegal. My pen name is Iona Kyle.

The Dietarian

I've been on a diet,
I've lost, five pounds,
I've done really well,
Haven't I?
I am going to buy myself something nice,
Something to wear?
No that big cream cake there.

Matty

I have a little cat called Matty,
Who sit by the garden wall,
She loves to try and catch the birds
That come to call.

New Years Day

Let the belles ring out on new years day,
Let there be peace and happiness,
Let there be work and food for all,
Let it be a year to remember by one and all.
