I, Ana Elizabeth Kahora, by God's design, came into this world in December of 1939 on a stormy day to Theresa and Julius in the suburbs of Bucharest in Romania. I am the 4th and last child in our family (2 boys and 2 girls). I had a hard start in life because of the war, so from the very beginning I learned to try harder! I had to fend for myself, books were my constant companion, my best friends! I wrote poetry from grade school on and some found it hard to believe that they were mine, for I was only a child. Some of my loves are: children (above all, after God), cooking, planting and growing, singing God's praises, sewing, and ministering to the sick. I love all people as God loves me, and I enjoy my grandchildren (3 and 1 soon to be). I am of Romanian-German-Hungarian-American descent but I belong to the world—God's family!

Jesus, I Love You!

"My Jesus I love you, save souls"
My children—your children—
One and all!

"My Jesus I love you, save souls"
Give them your light
To know and repent of their sin!

"My Jesus I love you, save souls"
Grant them the grace to trust in your name,
Present to the father when asked and pray!

"My Jesus I love you, save souls"
Grant us courage for life—for love,
Purify our hearts to yearn for God!

"My Jesus I love you, save souls"
To take up to heaven,
When the father calls home!

Unsophisticated!

Plain and simple
Candid and true
nO mastery language
but, form my heart to hearts that long for you!

Pain is pain, can not cover hurt!
No fancy words would seem sincere,
Nor help to ease another's woe!
A caring touch, a gentle word would do!

A hungry heart would not be satisfied
With cloths or trinkets, no matter how many!
Until it finds the love that fills the emptiness
And grows to overflow, love of His love!

It is so, form the beginning,
God had deemed it so!
For "God is love" and we are His children
"We'll not be truly happy, until we rest in Him!"

Just One More Day

When my crosses get too heavy,
Press on hard, feel burning pain,
Help me always to remember, look to you,
Get through the day!

Just one more day, I have to struggle,
Take on, all the day will bring!
With you in mind, in heart and spirit
closer to you I'll live!

Each day, a new page in my life,
Filled with moments treasured dear,
Obstacles I have to battle,
Deeds all sorts, for you to fulfill!

Just one more day, today I say!
Until the evening comes and causes to rest,
Tomorrow is another day—and then I'll pray,
Again, just one more day, until the end!
