I've been writing poems and songs for five years. It helps me a lot to put my feelings on paper. I have a great love for God and my children. I never saw a child that I could not love. I love being around them; they make me smile. I love flowers and trees and taking care of them. I enjoy music. One of my sons is a singer. I have done lots of volunteer work to help others. I love painting and interior decorating. I design some of my own clothes, drawing them on paper and taking them to my dressmaker. |
Star Light RiverStar Light river how beautiful you areWith your unforgettable sunset on the river's edge The colors of orange, gold, pink and red Tiny little violets growing here and there Then the stars come out lighting up the waterfront Looking like tiny diamonds moving in their very own private dance The lights of the city add to the glow There is nothing more beautiful than the river's flow The river that I have always called Star Light river If only it could talk I'll bet it could tell us so many secrets About love and life; I know that I love to sit and take in its beauty It has such a peace that I enjoy When I am feeling sad I feel that it really understands My very inner thoughts and I am not really alone What a beautiful friend to have It never deserts me It is always there. I love you Star Light river I promise I will be back to watch your very own private dance Remembering my stories of love and romance |
The Lonely LadyRestless nights and endless dreamsWaiting for the phone that never rings False laughter and fake smiles To fool everyone but if you look Really look deep into her eyes You will find the secret that she hides For no matter how many people she is around She is still really alone |
The Man in the DoorwayThe man in the doorway has tears in his eyesIt was not what he wanted when he said goodbye Back into a world that she could not understand He was her love, her Saudi Arabian man No one ever loved anyone more Her world ended when he walked out the door All she has left is her dreams She still waits for his return knowing full well that it may never be Lost in a dream, no way to escape Why did she have to give up so much When it was every woman's dream The kind of love no words can describe With every heartbeat cries out his name He was everything she ever wanted and more Sometimes there are reasons for what we have to do It was wonderful while it lasted just being with you My memory of you will always be mine Maybe in another life, another time I will never forget and always love The man in the doorway with the tears in his eyes |
