It's Time

To write my thoughts
To sail the bay
To visit friends
To walk in parks
To tour museums
To hear fine music
To feel alive
Before
my
clock
stops!

Perhaps
I'll
do
it
next
time
around!

D.O.B. Considerations

Was I born too late for tall ships crew,
Through seven seas for this old muse?

Was I born too soon for certain youth,
Who look at age as Dinosaur Tooth?

Was I born just ripe for World War II,
With shrunken census of High School youth?

I was born just right for my loving Wife,
Whose wisdom could cease much World strife.

Shipwrecked

She's going down
After 20 years of "sailing"
together.
She's going down.
I'll be swimming
alone,
In the endless sea.
She's going down,
After we have "sailed"
late in our years.
The "voyage" has been
a "happy voyage"
but
Her mind is going slowly.
Our adventure
is ending with
happy memories.
Sadly
She's going
down!
