I have been writing since I was fourteen years old. I am into indoor/apartment gardening. I have been published by The National Library of Poetry several times and in local Latin journal, "Don Peyo." The main reason I write poetry is to be able to express all the love and joy I have for life, especially since I suffered an aneurysm and stroke at the age of sixteen. I continued to write fulfilling my dream of becoming a poet. I'm currently working on my first book, "Roads of Love." Poetry, to me, is the soul of writing!

Willow Tree

I look at you with sadness in my heart.
Oh willow
where did this sadness truly start?
With lamenting songs it stands healthy,
very strong inside my heart.

Your beauty always growing so strong
remains within our souls
where it does belong
Your presence in this world
does make its beauty mark

Dancing Hearts

In our hearts we're dancing a waltz.
In our minds no memories lost or remorse.
Let's take each others hands and walk the walk
to stride into making more and better memories
that will last lifetimes till we meet again and again.

Forever we will dance, laugh and forget to cry,
because our love will never die.
With this we will rock and roll,
just remain sane—dancing!

Clouds Of Love's Gentle Touch

Ah, to place my self in a state of total calm,
a truly amazing feeling of content,
helping me through all,
I feel enthralled by this wondrous god sent,
such a gift accepted,
Arms open wide, palms of hands extended
to his skies where you will never find any lies
as clouds gently carry me away.
Loves always here to stay gently true with
vision of clouds loves gentle touch.
