New River, Arizona

I was born on a farm in Kensington, Conn. November 4, 1914 making me 82 yrs. old in 1996. I enjoyed farm life and helped dad tend the animals - milking, cleaning, etc. Also helped mom make butter and bake. I was a very curious child and asked many questions so I learned a lot. We finally moved to New Britain, Conn, where I graduated elementary, junior and senior high school. I wrote poems for newspaper and class papers. I was involved in drama class and sports and joined chichanged. Writing poems helped me express thoughts hopes and drama. We finally moved to Charleston Rhode Island where I wrote poems for Church Bulletins and the newspapers. I enjoyed the beach, boating raking oysters, crabbing, fishing and swimming. I was married twice: Delamas Eugene Morse and Rudolph Theodore Abrams. I had three children Eugene Morse, Vicki Abrams, Ralph Abrams. I have 8 grand children and 10 great grand children. My husband and I bought a motor home and toured the U.S.A. visiting National Parks, some in Mexico and Canada. After my husband passed away. I moved to a bird farm and learned about birds and exotic animals, also bird constructors. I try to continue to learn and still love dancing, traveling, and cruises. I play the organ, paint with oil, and write poetry. I keep my life full and interesting and continue to learn.

Untitled

I love to wake to the song of birds
and the busy sound of humming bees
See the sky of soft blue
With the seashore peeping threw.
Hear the wind whispering threw the trees
See the smile of a friend so dear
And the soft touch knowing he is near
Thinking of the wonderful love we share
To know how much we both care
Our sweet moments to remember
To hold mainly in your heart forever
Quietly walking life's long pathway
Feeling loved secure and so happy
Your the sweet song in my heart
That sings even when we are apart
To trust your love without doubt
That's what friendship is all about.
God in His wisdom knew
Life is best when shared by two
So how loved I forget you
Your a part of everything I do
When the shadows lighten into night
I hold your gift of love real tight
Closing my eyes in peaceful thoughts
Knowing your the joy and peace I sought.
If in the future we should part.
I'd still hold the memories deep in my heart
But best of all to keep our love alive forever
And help each other is my endeavor.
Your my castle in the air
You'll never know how much I care.
