A True Friend

A true friend is someone who will be,
a confidant making it very easy to talk freely,
who will concentrate on
your problems offering advice to you.

A true friend is someone you feel,
will want to share your great joy,
not take away the happiness you feel,
but will be very happy over your joy.

A true friend will be compassionate,
when you have a great misfortune,
helping in whatever way to compensate
for all the hurt of your misfortune.

A true friend in life maybe someone,
you may never find or have unless,
you are a true friend for someone,
and finding one is true happiness.

Significance Of Listening

Listening as you go through life;
to loved ones, teachers, and others
with knowledge that will help and
prepare you for the road of life.

Listening is a pleasure when birds
sing, flutter their wings, a purring cat
and a barking dog warning you of danger
or someone special coming for a chat.

Listening is what our leaders say.
They must stop and listen to each
other in order to agree on the way
needed laws are made for this country.

Listening is a needed precious quality.
Just imagine if you no longer could hear
or listen, what a great catastrophe
and a very sad misfortune that would be.

Memories To Cherish

Every day of our entire life time,
we are creating memories and some
will be remembering the happy times,
or will be sad memories for some.

When I lost many dear loved ones,
and by remembering the good times
spent with the dear loved ones,
I am able to forget the sad times.

When a small child I remember many
times spent happily playing together
and not be demanding material things,
but always happy just being together.

By remembering the happy memories,
and not dwelling on unhappy pasts,
you will be erasing bad memories,
have a happier life, and good pasts.
