Alex F. Chavez

A.K.A. Justice

Fort Drum, NY, USA

Alex is a young, ambitious dreamer who seeks to share his talents with the world. His artistic sight is best seen through his own style of "GRAFFITI," which he developed growing up in Chicago, Illinois. But his own vision of romance is best seen in the lost art of poetry. Considered, by those close to him, a hopeless romantic, he longs to remind today's youth that "LIFE" and "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" are not about sex; but a true feeling that only comes around (maybe) once. His goal in life is to be a successful writer, well-known, well-respected, but most importantly, to be looked upon as one of the elite romantic poets of all time . . . if not the most prominent.

Memorable

I remember your eyes and your smile,
I remember the beauty of your face,
I remember where I thought about taking you,
I remember imagining that special place,
I remember how you would laugh
And bring your hand up to your lips,
I remember the gentle touch of your skin
When you touched me with your fingertips,
I remember how you held me close
When I asked you if I may have a dance,
I remember when we talked about
How we were brought together by chance
I remember when I would look up at you,
I remember how you would smile at me,
I remember how nervous I would get
Whenever it was you that I'd see,
I remember how our eyes would lock
And neither of our heads could turn away,
No, I can forget what I remember,
I'll remember it all until my dying day.

The Truest Thing

Looking out at nature it's beauty which is true,
I look at what we have I see my love for you
I see how for each other you and I are always there,
In the darkest sky our star will hold it's glare
Shining with a twinkle among the stars in space,
It's beauty is unique as my visions of your face
I dream when we're apart I dream when we're together,
Dreaming of how you and I will share our lives forever
Death won't do us part forever means eternity,
I see my dreams will turn out true as I hold you next to me
And as I look at what we have I see a love that's true,
Because the truest thing I ever did was to fall in love with you.

Something Special

I just want to tell you
Something that you ought to know,
I'm going to express my feelings
With what I want to show
I simply want to show you
What you let my heart see,
I only want to tell you
That you are truly something special to me . . .

My days are filled with happiness
Because I no longer feel sad,
You made me forget
About the heartache I once had
Embraced in your arms
From the hurt I feel free,
I hold you in mine because
You are truly something special to me . . .

You have mended this heart
Which was twice broken in two,
I see myself as no one
If I were to be without you
Lying awake at night
Past the hours one, two, and three,
Trying to dream about you
Because you are truly something special to me.
