IN THE HEAT

Heaving is my heart
Feeling for my flower
Questing for my queen
Longing for my Love

Emptying is my ego
Waiting in my world
Itching in my impulse
Groaning in my grief

Seeking for a Succor
Personifying her pictures
Caressing in my cards
Dancing in my dreams.

Managing in my mind
Thriving in my travails
Relishing in my recalls
Merrying in my memory

Persevering in my plight
Foaming when she phones
Tarrying for the time
Hoping to soon be home.

ALL THE WAY

To you I say top of the day
Since today is your birthday
What then can I do or say
Other than to thank Allah and pray
That better things, come our way

Our love is like honey which does not decay
Like mountains which the wind blows not away
Like diamonds whose sparkle always stay
Like antiques whose worth increases everyday
Like rivers which flow night and day
And refreshing like the cool breeze of the bay

When things seem to be in disarray
My fears you always allay
Comforting words you always say
And you support without delay
Rashidat, you make my day, everyday.

FROM THE HEART

O my wife
Joy of my life
You've made my day
By coming my way

O my sugar
You make me swagger
You are so lovely
You make me lively

O my flower
Sweet is your nectar
Make my face glow
Let your love flow.
