I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and now live in California. I'm a lifetime member of The International Society of Poets. I have several poems in anthologies and the Poem for Peace project. I had a booklet of my poetry made for my family and friends. I also have a few plaques. Now, this wonderful honor! Without a college education, I feel God guides my hand and mind. Who else would give me stories, songs, and poems? So, "Thanks" to God and the Society for letting me reach the World!

Princess Di

She was an angel,
With a heart of gold,
Caring for others -
Her story unfolds!

With love in her heart,
She helped anyone,
Like the dove of peace -
All hearts she won!

Her concern and kindness,
Was known everywhere,
Her crown was a halo -
Beyond compare!

Once in a lifetime,
We get to see,
A special someone,
Change history!

By spreading love,
In her own way,
Princess Diana -
Did that everyday!

Now like an idol to worship,
Though tears may fall,
Princess Di is a symbol -
Her love touched us all!

Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa meant life
To the millions of poor
With her help
They all could endure!

A life of sickness and poverty
Homeless and shunned
Including those in the slums
To her, all were number one!

It didn't matter
To her anyway
She gave all her love
And taught them to pray

Their souls needed God
Their bodies needed food
So she gave both
As well as she could

She also was sick
But carried on
Until her last breath
Now who will carry on?

To help the millions
Day after day
Without Mother Teresa
Their future seems gray

The Garden of Eden

The Garden of Eden,
Was meant to be,
An example of how
The world should be!

But now-a-days,
People don't care,
The world has been ruined
Almost everywhere!

Like a battle field
Full of evil forces,
Everyone trying
To still all voices!

The dream we hoped for,
Has faded away,
Pushed in the background
Will it return someday?

All we can do,
Is hope people will learn,
That peace and love
Should be their concern!
