Drowning in Your Ocean

When You gave me life
I made a promise to thee
To help and to hold
Others who could not see

But as the decades progress
The battlefields get wider
As I drown in Your Ocean
The battleships close tighter

Where are the hearts to show me Love?
I see the crows flocked to the shores
Watching my helpless hands flail about
Waiting to feed once I'm nevermore
