Heart of Stone

He was made of the finest stone
As he sparkled brightly in the sun;
She'd loved him for such a long time
As a statue he was second to none!

She took lunch with him every day
While he stood so statuesque in his stance;
She wanted to throw her arms around him
And teach him her favorite dance!

She peered up at his chiseled marble
As he seemed to stretch into the sky;
Day after day when she stops to see him
It gets harder and harder to say goodbye!

THANK YOU
I like your composition
Cherish every moment with those you love at every stage of your journey
We find these joys to be self-evident
I looked around and there you were,
loving me, caring for me, and helping me
