Born in Springfield Missouri now residing in Mercer, Missouri. Have been reading and writing poetry since 1957. I am drawn to writing at times, my poem: "Blank Piece of Paper" was an early poem and so typical of my analytical mind pulling from deep roots of self-understanding! Some of my poems like Old Fisherman are from my travels and studies in Greece plus experiences. Some are just silly like a song that I make up out of nowhere. I am retired and my hobbies are photography, painting, crafts, woodcarving, and still....writing. Thank you
too many words and thoughts denied,
so much unscripted, so much inside,

It was a slow journey,
full of lush scenery,

Drained of passion once flourished as fire,
Alone with his old friend Aegean,

Life is what I make it,
