In the name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity of God. What does it really mean.
God the creator, the Virgin Mother, united in Spirit, purity.
Jesus born mortal, sent from God to end our wicked ways.
Some say a Prophet, not a Son, was sent to preach God's word.
A Virgin was chosen, pure of heart, to give Jesus mortal birth.
There were many prophets already, only one of the Spirit Divine.
He died on a cross to redeem man's sin, on the third day He arose again.
The miracle of Jesus, his miraculous life. His death was not in vain.
One day soon He'll return again to ease suffering and pain.
He'll lead us to redemption, cast demons to fiery depths.
He'll take our hands and lead us once more
to the heavenly gates of God's kingdom. Paradise, the land of freedom.

well, the bible is based on so many different sources, most of them written a century after the alleged death of Jesus. My mother who was Russian Orthodox defined the Trinity differently, but as a poem it's very good.
