\Days have gone by, we still feel pain;
Days have gone by, but the feelings still remain.
Weeks move in we all gather around,
Weeks move in and no more life is found.
\How do we tell our children that are too young to understand?
Will they ever know just where we stand?
The pain endured has affected so many,
The pain endured has amounted plenty.
\Years will come to pass, tears will flow no more.
Let's remember to say a prayer and recall the way it was before.
And on the day this all begun,
Never forget those who died, on 9-1-1.
